Glasgow may have been bathed in glorious sunshine, but the focus for delegates attending the latest Game Changers event inside the University of Strathclyde’s Technology & Innovation Centre was very much on the challenges presented by Sellafield’s POCO teams and sector experts.
As with all of the Game Changers challenge-led events, it was wonderful to welcome so many people from very diverse industry sectors and leading university research departments.
We would once again like to thank Neil Gordon and Subsea UK for their support, both on the day and helping to share the wider innovation in nuclear decommissioning message to the subsea and oil & gas communities.
Each of the workshop sessions presentations – Access, Characterisation, Cleaning and Transfer – encouraged some very interesting conversations and, as noted by Sellafield’s Steve Hepworth in the closing remarks, there were already a number of suggestions and concepts being put forward that have scope for further investigation.
Below we have posted all of the workshop presentations from the event. We hope that these will help with your recollections of the day, and also provide inspiration from the other workshop sessions.
Thank you once again for your interest and, to those who attended, thank you for helping make the event both engaging and enjoyable.
Deadline for applications for the POCO challenge and call for innovation is 12:00 on Friday 8th June, 2018.
